Junior Golf

The Junior Golf Program at Meridian Valley Country Club offers young golfers the opportunity to learn the game and build friendships through weekly play and friendly competitions. The MVCC Junior Room is available during the season on Mondays and Thursdays as a meeting place for the kids to sign-up for tee times, check the latest scores and share stories about the birdies and eagles they're going to card that day. Download the Junior Golf Manual. Eligibility Meridian Valley Country Club invites all golfers ages 8 to 18 (as of September 1st current year) to join the Junior Golf program. Eligible Juniors are the children/dependents of playing MVCC members. Upon approval, by the Board of Trustees, grandchildren of playing MVCC members are also allowed playing privileges during the Summer Junior Program season.

Divisions

The Junior Program is comprised of four divisions (3-, 6-, 9- and 18-Hole players). Boys and girls compete separately within each division.

Moving to the Next Division

In order for Juniors to move up to the next division, they have to play the required number of rounds on the new holes, turn in their scores to the Golf Shop and take the required test. Any Juniors new to the program and starting anywhere other than the 3-hole group, must also play the required rounds on the holes they will be playing, turn their scores into the Golf Shop and take the proper test.

Registration

Registration forms will be mailed to those in the program the previous year. If you do not receive a form, the Club office will have them available for you. Bill Cogswell and Jodi Charlton are co-chairing the Junior Program and can answer any questions you might have.
