Course
The game of golf remains central to many Meridian Valley members. The course is open year round for
the all weather golfers and tee times are only required for weekend play during peak summer months.
The club hosts several tournaments throughout the year including the Men's and Women's Club Championships
and Invitationals along with the Seniors and SuperSeniors Club Championships. If you're not competing in the
special tournaments, you can take advantage of Meridian Valley's reciprocal
agreements with other regional golf clubs.
Head PGA Professional, Greg Manley and his staff host many mid-week competitions throughout the summer to keep the membership competitive. Twilight tournaments are especially popular, as the summer days grow longer and warmer.
The Ted Robinson designed course is an interesting mix of hills and flat tracts with the added challenge of over 50 sand bunkers and nine water hazards. The combination offers golfers of every level a new game each time they tee it up at Meridian Valley.
The Par 72 course plays 6,652 yards from the tips but offers four tee choices. Lee Trevino held the course record at 63 until Hollis Stacy shot a 62 during the 1992 LPGA SAFECO Classic.
